San Luis Obispo, California's main attraction is its big huge downtown area. Kids go there to hang out with their friends and their parents go there to shop. They have a lot of stores, including Jamba Juice, the Downtown Center Cinemas, Beverly's fabric store, Costume Capers, Express Clothing, Coldstone Ice Cream, Selections, Booboo's Records, and many more. There are other reasons that people go downtown, though, besides shopping and eating. Some people might want to visit Bubble gum Alley, and some people might just want to walk down the sunny sidewalks or go for a jog. Some people might want to go people watching; there are a lot of homeless people down there. One of my favorite people downtown is the Fiddle Man. He plays his fiddle downtown and collects money for it, but he is not homeless. He is a very interesting man; he put a mustache on his fiddle because he couldn't get his own to curl up how he wanted it to. My sister talks to him a lot when she goes downtown. There is also the San Luis Creek downtown, which is near the old Mission. If you think about it, there are a lot of things to do downtown, so have fun!
