How to "Prevent" Pimples...

Acne cannot be completely prevented, but it can be treated so that the effects will lessen. Here are some tips for keeping your face clear. Wash it every day with a benzoil peroxide solution. Benzoil peroxide is the best pimple killer. Keep it clean during the day; don't let it get sweaty or dirty so that pores will not get clogged. Natural oils from your fingers and other people's fingers can clog pores as well and cause zits. Avoid touching your face or letting other people touch it. Keep your skin moist by drinking a lot of water. Water helps pores keep themselves cleaned out. Fruits and vegetables are also good for your skin, not only on your face but also on the rest of your body. Do not ever put lotion on your face or use a make-up or face product that contains oil. Check the labels for them to say "oil free." Keep in mind that if you use hair products and your hair falls into your face that it can have the same effects as lotion or an oily skin product. Stripping your face with alcohol too often will not help, nor will over-washing your face. It would be the same as just washing your face a normal amount of times. It is best to wash your face once before bed and once when you get up in the morning, and using a gentle face cleanser in case of emergencies like sweating. Avoid dabbing the oil off of your pizza with a napkin and using the napkin to wash your face.
