In Baseball's history there always
have been home run hitters. Barry Bonds is one of the most known home run
hitters. He broke the record for single season home runes at 73. He's been
awarded NL MVP 6 times. Bonds is one of three players to reach 700 home
runs. Hank Aaron right now holds the all time record for home runs total
at 755. He went to 24 All Star games and was awarded three Gold Glove awards,
1958, 1959, 1960. Hank was named the Hall of Fame in 1982.
Babe Ruth is another great home run hitter. He was one of the first five
players elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame and he was the
first player to hit over 50 home runs in one season. Babe Ruth hit
714 home runs. Which today is the third most home runs hit.
