Goliath is one of those you-either-love-it-or-you-hate-it roller coasters. Some thrill machine fans put it at or near the top of their favorites list. Put me in the hate-it category for a number of reasons. Chief among them: I nearly passed out from Goliath's extreme positive G forces. Goliath has a height of 235 feet, with a drop of 255 feet, and a top speed is 85 mph. Goliath is a pretty good ride for the people who aren't scared of heights. The ride is not very long, because the ride up the slope takes about 30 seconds, and the rest of the ride is maybe 45 seconds to a minute. The ride has its good moments, but isn't that good of a ride compared to most of the others, the only fun part of the ride is the drop, but the rest isn't very entertaining. All in all, you should ride thiis roller coaster if you haven't, and if you have, you probably agree with me about how it isn't such a very good ride after all.
