The civil right Movement was a big turn out in the times of martin luther king Jr. Was alive. He had started the Movement to Pro-Test and tell tghe White thats us Black should be able to eat, sleep, walk and sit where ever we like just like whites can. Dr. king and many people of his race and some white who cared about black marched across the brigde to tell them that we all should be free and not have laws against us.Dr.King had said that any race, gender or religion could march to get freedom and fight for what they want.
    Dr. King was not alone he had many people on his side including a guy named Malcolm X who had wanted they same thing every black wanted which wa freedom and peace. But What Dr. King didn't do was hate people and same with Malcolm as much cruel and rude things the white had did like Buring down black churches, homes and school he had forgave them the only reason why was because god had always said in the bible "Always turn the other cheek" and always forgive but you don't always have to forgive. Dr. King had always sicked by that saying because it what he grew up learning and always believing
