The founder of this hall was Mrs.Coretta Scott king the wife of martin luther king jr. she had started this after the death of her husband. She has asked the help of mayor Ivan allen to help save martin luther king jr's birth home. Mayor allen led the Altanta city council in passing an ordinance designating the marrtin luther king jr. historic district in the area later that year.
    From the time until 1980 the freedom hall complex and its people are the King family,  had planned and developed everything which it is today.The King center was made or such as developed to tell people and history of the time Dr.king was alive.
    It was establish in 1968 to show the honor of the most respecteable man Martin Luther King Jr. He wa leader of america's greast nonviolent movement for justice, equality and peace. Over 650,000 vistors come each year to learn the teachchings and  unqiue exbhits and to vist the home which he was born and gift shops and facilities. Which all this is located in Alanta's martin Luther King , Jr. National Historic site.
 

Which now at the freedom hall complex  they give tours of the home of Birth place he was born.

As today the King center is still open to the public to see the gravesite of Dr.king.
