super smash brothers melee is one of the first games to come out for the gamecude. it came out in 1999 only 6 months after the gamecube its self came out. it is a game made by nentendo using all of the charaters from there other video games. they take charaters from mario and all of his games. and from poke'mon, and starfox, f zero, metroid, zelda, and others that i don't even know the names of. there are 3 basic modes for the game. there is a versis mode in which you fight either another player or other computer players. there is an adventure mode where you roam throught long levels trying to get to the end and beat geca bowser and posibly unlock a new charater. there is also another mode that you just fight a bunch of people  in a row and the boss who is the master hand. there are also lots of other minigames and related stuff. there is to many i don't think i could name them all. I would give this game a 4 out of 5
