The paparazzi are
some crazy people. Doing whatever it takes to get a shot or comment out
of a famous person. They are hiding in your bushes! They follow you to
the store! The make up rumors and edit photos to fit the story! There is
nowhere to hide! The hand thing I am talking about is when a person puts
their hand in the camera and maybe even mutters a few bad words or screams
at you to get out of their face! I could see why celebrities get
a little tired of it but random people at school?!?!?!
One of my
favorite stories is more like: when paparazzi attack, the stars attack
back!
The Norwegian
singer Bjork (pronounced bee-york) is sort of a strange character in the
first place, but this is one of her weirdest acts yet. One day while walking
through the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok in 1996, Bjork suddenly attacked
a reporter from a local cable TV station. Bjork grabbed the newswoman named
Julie Kaufman by the hair and banged her head against the floor, ripped
some chunks of her hair out, and just flat out tackled her!!!!! What made
Bjork do this? Kaufman looked at Bjork's son Sindri and said, "Welcome
to Bangkok!"
Later, when
the newswoman was in the car, the cameraman asked if she was okay. She
said she was fine, and thought Bjork was just a little agitated from her
trip. At least she wasn’t mad...
