Hockey Equipment
In
hockey there is a lot of equipment that you need to wear if you want to
play. There are exactly nine pieces of equipment, they are a helmet, a
mouth guard, a girdle, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin pads, pants, skates
and a stick. In most children leagues you don't have to wear shoulder pads, but
you can if you want to. In the pros you are required to wear all of this
equipment, none of them would want to go without any of this gear anyway.
Instead of wearing hockey pants, the pros just wear long socks over their
shin pads and wear their girdle on the outside. I'm not sure why ice hockey
player don't dress the same way as roller hockey players or the other way
arround. This is everything that you need to know about hockey equipment.
