3rd base is to the left of
home plate. 3rd base is the plate right before home! Once you
make it there you are home free almost. It is easy to get picked
off of the base if the pitcher is right handed he can take his left foot
and throw you out. That is the only bad thing about being on 3rd
base. Another bad thing is that the catcher is close and he can gun
you out at 3rd base if you are not paying attention. Now when you
are defense that is one of the best places to play you get a lot of action.
The only bad thing about 3rd base is that you will get hurt if the ball
is coming hard and you don't get in front of the ball.
It doesn't really hurt but if you are not strong then well you will be
hurting the next day I guess.
