There are a few things you will need to wear to become a catcher.
1.You need a chest protector it is for your chest so that the ball doesn't hit you hard
2.You need a catchers mit. It is more paded so when the pitch comes in it dosen't hurt as much
3.You need a catchers helmet. It is a helmat with a facemask.
4.You need two shin guards with Knees Savors. They are so when the ball comes and it bounces and hits you in the legs it doesn't hurt.
5.I would suggest a catchers glove. It's like a batting glove with a heavy pad.
