All about Terrariums
 

            Terrariums look similar to aquariums but they're not because terrariums are for reptiles or crabs, aquariums are for fish. There are many different Terrariums like the open air terrarium which provide more humidity and is drier and less subject to decease. A terrarium is a clear glass  container that holds plants, dirt ,or reptiles. A Terrarium should not be in direct sunlight.

There are many things you need for a terrarium hosing plants like a drainage which is to keep a plant that your housing from getting over watered  a good drainage is a thin layer of perlite or horticultural charcoal in the bottom of the terrarium. Then you add some more soil to the terrarium to give depth to the plants. The next step is to add items in your terrarium like wood or rock but you should clean those materials off to kill any bugs or others animals that might harm the plants. Adding the item will make the area look more exciting in your terrarium not plain. You can add the plants in the terrarium then cover them up with more soil and you could also add moss on top of the soil if you want.

In a terrarium for reptiles you need the right size of terrarium depending on how active your reptile is. If it's very active then get a large terrarium so it has more space to roam. The terrarium should be at least large enough to hold sticks, plants,  rocks, and a drinking bowl .Your terrarium should also have an area for the reptile to hide. You should also have bedding which depends on your reptile and how its surrounding is like. A bedding can absorb waste products and good for burrowing. The terrarium has to be securely closed by a latch or something else like a screen. You can even decorate the terrarium to make it the centerpiece in your house.
