Bakers field Bakers field is one of the dullest and most boring places to live, it's other name is the armpit of California. Bakers field is also the home of one of my friend's grandparents who ends up there practically every other weekend. There's not much to say about this ugly place besides the fact that it isn't nesicerally one of the really desired places to live. bakers field lies a couple miles west of Rigecrest and quite a bit east of Santa Maria.
