There are a lot of endangered species in the world. The most common way for a species to get endangered is us, humans and polluting the ocean.Endangered Species
First off is us humans. There are a lot of hunters that want a lot of the things that the animals have. For example, with elephants the hunters want there tusks that is ivory. with snakes, they want there skin to make purses, boots, and other accessories. For tigers, they want there nice soft fur for jackets. So if we keep up with this pace of polluting the Earth, then those animals will become extinct. All the animals i just mentioned are endangered right now.
Next is polluting the ocean. This is also a big problem. Have you seen the beaches latley? Well, there is a lot of trash out there. That trash that you see goes into the ocean. The tide goes out and carries the trash into the ocean. Also when the fisherman go fishing, they sometimes leave there nets out in the water. Then the sea otters come and they get caught into the net and suffacate.
This is why there are so many endangered species. If the humans weren't here, then there wouldn't be as many endangered species as there are today. Also to save some of the endangered species, you can start to recycle. When you recyle, you re-use the things that you have already used.
