Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.
I think that this poem is a symbol for something
that's out of place. Roses usually don't grow in ugly places or hard
places like concrete. In this case it would seem that Tupac would be the
rose and the concrete would be the ghetto. Most people wouldn't expect
someone from the ghetto to grow up and be successful. I think that The
Rose That Grew From Concrete expressed that example very well.
