Joshua Tree National Park
Joshua Tree is right by the city of San Bernardino and Palm Springs
off of highway 10. At the desert there were wild flowers everywhere.
Also there were tons of cacti; such as the barrel cactus, which looks like
a barrel with red flat rope, which would be the stems wrapped around it,
with spikes coming of of the stems. My dad and I saw a pretty big
Rabbit. Also we saw a lot of birds and this really cool lizard called
the Chuckawalla. From San Luis Obispo it is about six hours to Joshua
Tree. Joshua Tree is also well known for it's rock climbing.
Joshua Tree National Park is in Yucca Valley.
