You are out on
the floor, panicking, not knowing if you will do good or not. You have
over a thousand people watching you and you are scared to death.
This happens at every competition
even when you have competed for years. You will get more and more comfortable
but you will still have a fear inside of you. It never goes away!
Every competition there are new judges.
Sometimes if you are nice to the judges before the competitions they might
just give you a better score. The judges are strict. Sometimes you get
all strict
judges
judging you you and you will get a score that you don't deserve. Other
times you will get one judge that gives you a bad score but all the other
judges give you a score that will give you the score you deserve.
When you are ready to compete you
get a warm session of thirty minutes. Then the announcer will introduce
you to all the judges and tell you what panel of judges will be judging
you. You get could get panel A or panel B. They usually spread out the
judges evenly so there are some strict and some soft judges on each panel.
Competing is so much fun. SOme people
think that showing off infront of people is scary but it isnt that bad.
Everyone should have a chance to sometime in there life. Even if it is
not in Sports Acrobatics.
