Training is a big part of synchronized swimming because
you need to be able to hold your breath and to be flexible enough to do
figures such as a front walk over. I train for about an hour out
of the two hours of practice I have two days a week. My team and
I, do sprints for slimness, skulls for keeping us on the surface while
doing curtain figures and then we practice our routine for chompitions
and shows. Many other ways to train for synchro is to stretch everyday,
swim laps at least twice a week, take gymnastic classes and dance classes
for being lean and flexible.
