Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn New York on February 17, 1963. He was born to James and Deloris Jordan. Michael has 2 brothers named Larry and Ronald and 2 sisters named Roslyn and Delois. Michael's father, James was murdered July 23, 1996. Michael got married to Juanita in September of 1989. He now has three kids named Jeffery who is 14, Marcus who is 12, and Jasmine who is 9. Michael Jordan has also stared in the movie Space Jam as well as doing commercials for Ball Park Franks, Nike, Gatorade, to name a few.
Michael went to Emsley A. Laney High School and graduated in 1981. The High Schools mascot was the Buccaneers. Michael went to the University of North Carolina and graduated in 1986. The University was called the North Carolina Tar Heels. He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina in 1986. Michael played on both the high school basketball team and his college basketball team. Michael has also played on the Chicago Bulls.
Michael is now playing on the Washington Wizards and has been playing on this team for the past two years. When this season is over he is going to retire because he is a little over 40 years old. Michael has received 11 awards and has set 15 records.
