I was reading this great book Lancelot I tells you about the great knight Lancelot and the great things he has don’t I am going to tell you about this great book Lancelot. The book starts out how the king was very ill and the great magician, Merlin who helps defend and watch over the castle as the king died Arthur was king but he was to young to go to the throne so the heir of the throne went to someone else, eventually Arthur was sent to the throne where Merlin help him decide things.Before Arthur was sent to his duty as a king they held joust and Arthur loved to joust he had the sword Excalibur as his sword as everyone saw he one the challenges very easily, everyone knew he would be the new heir to the throne. As Merlin fell in love with a witch with very strong magic but Merlin didn’t know as she wanted to get rid of him, so the day came when Merlin told the witch to secret of how to destroy him and she tricked him and he died as Merlin was under control of the witch there was a evil knight killing all of king Arthur’sknights and there was little he could do with out Merlin do to anything and if he went out he might get killed and the heir to the throne could get corrupted and the town could get destroyed. Arthur decide to go out and see this mystery evil knight and he figured out he was no challenge and defeated but before striking the final blow he left him join his army of knights. After that great victory and a new power they created the round table where all the most powerful knights would attend to a meeting.Now that Arthur knew about Merlin’s death he sent to kill the witch and get more knights. After a while the witch was killed and new knight of great speed joined the round table.
     The knight was Sir Lancelot of Lake and Arthur wanted to marry Guinevere, which he did and Lancelot was only so loyal and so brave around Guinever because he loved her. Then a new treat to Arthur’s kingdom a knight named Sir Turquine.Turquine was the hardest knight he will fight and meet. The battle went on for ever, eventually Lancelot got his spear back from early in the battle and plunged it into Turquine and he found out that Turquine held Sir Kay hostage for money and to fight sir Lancelot. After the battle with sir Tuquine he went to rescue Sir Kay. As Lancelot rode on he went to a church and found a knight named Perilous who was very good with a sword they fought until night and then a priest settled it they stopped fighting and let each other go free from this duel. Lancelot was now determined to get revenge for his unfinished business and was determined to get back in to the chapel but he wasn’t aloud back in the chapel where he said if he beat the guards how the chapel he would be aloud in he soon fought his way to the gate of the chapel there was a evil lady who was very jealous of sir Tristram a young boy who was suppose to inherit his father’s land but the lady killed him so she was heir to the land and Lancelot was there to revenge it.
