On Saturday, my mom, my brother and I went to Sinschiemer park to race my RC cars. I brought my remotcontrol trucks which are my stampede and my E-MAXX.I raced the stampede at the park. It got boring so we went farther down the pathway to the big hill.It had tread marks from trucks going up and down the hill. My E-MAXX went up the hill pretty good. It flipped a lot when it did not make it up the hill.
The next day we went to church. After church My dad, mom, my brother and I went to sinschiemer park and went to the same spot.This time I only got to race one set of batteries, because I went down this big steep hill and at the bottom my truck hit this rock and broke my front skid plate and the bulkhead. The front axle fell apart so I had no power to my front wheels. We had to go home.
I looked in my RC car magazines for aluminum skid plates. I found skid plates for the front, center, and back. They were 18.00 dollars each. I also wanted to order a new body that was a ChevyAvalanche. That body was 20.00 dollars. Later that week my dad ordered the parts for my E-MAXX. The parts came on Monday of the next week. The skid plates were red aluminum and the Avalanche body was clear. I put the skid plates on and it looked really cool.
My dad, mom, my brother, and I went to Laws Hobby shop to get some paint for my Avalanache body. I picked red and black paint. Red for the body and black for the windows. I cut out the body.It took a really long time, but it looked good. Then I painted the newbody. It looked really cool after it was done.
After two weekends, we all went to theMorro Bay BMX track. I brought both of my trucks the E-MAXX and the stampede.It is a cool track, my E-MAXX went of the jumps good. My stampede did not jump that well because the tires were to slick but it was still fun. My brother slept the whole time we were at the BMX track.
On a three day weekend, we went to the dunes in our jeep wrangler. When we got there we had to pay four dollars to get in. The lady said that it was high tide so when we crossed the river the water splashed over the hood of our jeep, I got it on videotape. There were a lot of quads, dirt bikes, dune buggies and big trucks with big trailers. We went in the dunes and went on sand high way. We saw some guys get stuck on competition hill. I got to drive in the dunes and it was really fun. I got to go in the water and it splashed all over the car.When we left we went to the quarter car wash and washed the jeep off.
I went dirt bike riding the next weekend at Pozo. We meet some friends out there. There were mud puddles on the trails. We rode a trail called burnout twice. It was slow the first time because there were nine people that went on the trail. The 2nd time my dad and I went with two of our friends on burnout and we went a lot faster. It was fun going threw the puddles and going up the big hill climbs. At the end of the trail, on the fireroad, there are creeks that go across the road. It was fun to go threw the creeks fast and have water splash up. We rode some other trails too.We loaded the truck up with the bikes, riding gear and ice chest and left,and I had a blast.
My RC cars, dirt bikeriding and being with family and friends are the activities that I look forward to on the weekends!!
