The game I will tell you is DDR. It stands for "Dance Dance Revolution". This game is a fun dancing game that has a lot of arrows! The point of the game is to hit the arrows on the screen at the same time it hits the top bar. The way you control the hit is the arrows you step on below you. Your timing must be very good because if you are off 2 or 3 seconds it could mess up your score. Scoring is very easy. All you  have to do is hit the arrows right. During the game when you try to hit the arrow it will say 1 of 4 things. They are Perfect, Great, Good, or Boo. Perfect means that you hit the arrow at the right time perfectly. Great means just a second or 2 off. Good means you were off by at lease 3 or seconds. Boo means you missed completely.
    That was the point of the game now I can tell you about the styles. There are 2 main styles and about a billion others. The first is the 1 is used by beginners. It is when you stand in the middle and then aim for the arrows,  which I think is way harder. One  reason I think so is because you have to move a lot more than the second one. The second one is a lot harder to explain, and it is also used by exports or intermediates. This is the style when after you hit the arrow you stay on it and then move form there.
    The arrows you have to hit can come up in many different ways. The first is just a plain arrow in any direction. The second is a double beat which is when two arrows come right after another.(in an direction) There is also a arrow that is called a freeze arrow. This arrow you need to stand on the button for as long as it is on the screen. The longest freeze arrow I have seen was about five seconds long. The next is a jump. This type has two arrow that you need to hit at the same time. Example: Up and Down. The last type of arrow is a 1/8 arrow. On this arrow you hit three arrows that are connected by there 1/8’s.  These are most of the types of arrows you will see in the game.
    Now that you understand the game I can tell you were to get the game. If you are considering this game you must buy three to four things. The first is ether a PS2 or a Computer. Any computer will work. (must be 2000 or better.) The next thing you need is the DDR game, which would cost about $40. (if it cost more your getting ripped off) The last is you need the pad(s) you only need one but two is more fun. There many places you can get it. Now this is was about DDR ONLY so I hope you remember all of it. So now you try, its hard at first but you'll get better! Remember This is the perfect game to show off on!
