C S Lewis was Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 29, 1898. Lewis's mother died when he was ten. When his mother died he found a great interest in scholastics and he excelled in it. C S Lewis had greed interest in since fiction. Most of the books he wrote were Science fiction. the first books Lewis published, two volumes of poetry: Spirits in Bondage, published in 1919 when Lewis was but 23, and his long narrative poem, Dymer, published in 1926. the first books Lewis published, two volumes of

Dymer, published in 1926. Those poems were not much of a success though. Lewis's mother died in 1908. In the same year his brother and father died too.
    C S Lewis is known for being the author of The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe. He also wrote the chronicles of Narnia in which the book The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe was in. C S Lewis died in 1963 at the age of 65.
