Sesshomaru is elder brother to Inuyasha. His trick is he doesn't feel any other emotions at all. He seems to frequently display hate, but he doesn't really FEEL it. Unlike his younger sibling, Sesshomaru has no human part whatsoever, and, using the amazing power of deduction, we can conclude that Sesshomaru is a true demon. Sesshomaru is ashamed to say that a half-breed like Inuyasha is his brother, and says he stains his family's bloodline, but yet he envys Inuyasha (but without feeling it) because he can use the Tetsuiga. Since it reacts when it is used to protect mortals, and Sesshomaru could only hate mortals, using Tetsuiga would be impossible. But later Sesshomaru gets to use a weapon (besides his light sabor whip) called the Tensuiga, which can heal 100 demons with just one swing. Sesshomaru can turn himself into this huge demon dog, taking after his father, make his claws poison, all this fancy stuff. He has this little henchman named Jaken that follows him around and performs his magic. Later in the series, Sesshomaru adopts a girl he revives with Tensuiga named Rin. This is where his non-emotional thing gets tricky. He loves Rin like a daughter, but he doesn't love her. I don't get it either. Sesshomaru sometimes involves others in his plans, and once, Sesshomaru went so far as to join forces with Naraku to try to steal Tetsuiga from Inuyasha.
