Games

There are many different types and styles of games: adventure, strategy, learning, fantasy, and more. There are also all different perspectives like, first person, third person, etc. There is many brand names out there too Blizzard, Activision, Electronic Arts, Sierra, Microsoft, EA Games, Lionhead Studios, Westwood Studios, Neversoft, etc. So how do you choose? You first might want to get a friend to recommend some games for you. Then go, buy, and play those games. You might have different interests then your friends in these games, so you might not like what they recommend to you. If you don't like then or your friends only watch T.V., then here are some suggestions Video Games, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, 3, and 4, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters (only for Game Cube), All Golden Eye Games (007 The World's Not Enough, 007 Nightfire, etc), Pilot Wings (For the Super Nintendo, You have to buy it used), Star Wars Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron, 2 (only for Game Cube), Metroid Prime (only for Game Cube), Gauntlet Legends, and Gauntlet Legends Dark Legacy. Computer Games, Star Trek Voyager Elite Force and Expansion, Warcraft III, Starcraft, Starcraft Brood War expansion, Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit, Layer Section, Black & White, Black & White Creature Isle, Empire Earth, Real War, Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo II expansion, Emperor Battle For Dune, Command & Conquer Red Alert 2, and Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries. My Favorites out of these are Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters, Golden Eye 007 The World's Not Enough, Metriod Prime, for computer, Black & White, Black & White Creature Isle, Diablo II and expansion, Emperor Battle of Dune, Warcaft III, Srarcraft and expansion, Command & Conquer Red Alert 2, and Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries. My all time favorite game is Warcraft III. Because Blizzard added two new races into the picture besides the Humans and Orcs. Rather I should say three new races but only two are playable. They added the peaceful Night Elves, the hideous Undead, and the demons the Burning Legion. The Burning Legion is the unplayable race, Blizzard decided that the Burning Legion was too powerful, so they made it a common enemy. Warcraft III is a strategy game, it is third person perspective, and you already know the brand, Blizzard. So why is this a good game you ask? Well, It is good mostly because each and every race is different. Example: The Night Elves are so in tune with nature that they heaviest trees without destroying them. Where as the Undead poisons the trees before even cutting them down. Plus each race has totally different units, the only two races that are similar are the Humans and the Orcs. I guess the Night Elves and the Undead are also similar in some ways. The campaign is fun, In the tutorial you are the orcs. In the campaign, you are first Human, then Undead, then Orc, and then Night Elves. You might find the game a little hard in the beginning so you might want to play against your friends or get cheats. P.S. I used cheats to beat the campaign because it was way too hard.
Emperor Battle For Dune is like Warcraft III except that you are fighting for control of a planet and not against a common enemy. Emperor is like a expansion for Dune 2000. It has very much improved graphics form Dune 2000. It has almost all new units and it also introduces sub-houses. Sub houses are just what they sound like sub houses off of the main houses. The main houses are Harkonnen, Atreides, and Ordos. The sub houses are there just to help the main houses. In the campaign you get to plan where to attack next, move reinforcements, and attack. This is my second favorite game.
My third and final is Command & Conquer Red Alert 2. It is just like the other games but only has two sides, Soviet and Allies, and they are very much alike. But there are nationalities, which decided what guys you can build and what buildings. These are very different from each other. This is a very fun game!
