Samuel Langhorne Clemens uses the pen name Mark Twain. Clemens was born
in 1835 in Hannibal, Missouri. Clemen's family had three boys, one girl,
and a slave, Jenny. Jenny told stories and played a large part in Samuel's
interest in journalism and writing.
He has written many novels, such as: The Prince and the Pauper,
Tom
Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's
Court, Rouging It, and many, many more. He has also written
