Skiing and Snowboarding are two very very popular winter sports. Skiing has been around since, well ever! Snowboarding on the other hand is pretty new. They are still finding new ways to make snowboarding better. The experts pretty much know everything about skiing. Because they know everything about skiing there is a bigger variety of selections. There are different kind of skis for people with different skills or intensions. For Someone doing alot of powdered skiing and are a beginner or an expert skiier there is the shaped skis. And for those people that want to go all old fashion theres the sraight skis. These aren't as good as the shaped in the powder.
Now for snowboarding, there are lots of little details for snowboarding. For example, there is the board. Some boards are bettter than others, and there is a big difference in cost. Big Companys and good boards could cost up to 600 dollars for just the board. Then theres the boots, those can cost like anywhere from 100-250. You cant have boots and a board and not have bindings.
