in Aspen, Colorado there are a couple
mountains you could go skiing and snowboarding on. Those mountains consist
of: Buttermilk, Aspen Mountain, Aspen highlands, and Aspen Snowmass. There
is terrain there for everyone..... bowls, glades, groomers, rocks, bumps,
and parks. HAVE FUN!
Some Info. on The Mountains
Aspen Mountain overlooks the cute little town of Aspen. This mountain is for intermediate to advanced. This is because its is a steep mountain with lots of bumps and trees. This year they might even add a rail at the bottom.
Aspen Highlands is the place where the locals go.This
mountain is famous for the big bowl on top. You have to hike a big long
hike up it but on a nice powder day it just might be what you need.
On this mountain there are no parks but they do alllow
you to build your own jumps. But on one condition, its not in the way of
any runs.
Snowmass is very large and has terrain for all. The
variety of terrain
here makes Snowmass popular with familiesNo worries
there is plenty of steepness. The terrain park is crazy at snowmass! Anything
you can think of is there. The only thing that isn't so great at snowmass
and buttermilk wopuld be the flat spots. But you can handle it.
