Influenza
 

     The worst case of illness that I've had is called Influenza. It was awful and I had to have rest. I had big old backaches, a stuffy nose and my throat hurt like, well you know. It started at 6 o'clock on Monday, with a high temperature over 99. The next day I very stupidly I went to school. I thought I felt normal, but that night my mom told me that I should stay home from school the next day, so I did. That night I felt pretty bad and on top of that I knew that I'd have a ton of homework to do as soon as I called one of my study buddies. On Wednesday I went to the doctor, and had a swab test. Man that was irritating; they stuck it straight to the back of my throat, and it tickled and hurt. Then they stuck another one up my nose to see if I had the Flu, which I did.
    On Thursday I was really bad off. I basically laid in bed all day long. At that time I had a ton of homework to do, I had to do some Math, some English, and some Social Studies also and that made me feel worse. I still had a fever on and off of about 99 to 103. My nose started to run and my back hurt. Also my mom just started working at a food delivery company to deliver food to old people at all kinds of places. So this left me alone for half of the day, so I had to take care of myself, so I was very tired, and the doctor said I needed to rest. Oh yeah and I had to do all my homework from all my core classes.
 On Friday I wanted to go to school because I was going to miss a major test, but of course I had to stay home or else Id infect all the other children. So I stayed home from school. I felt pretty bad though, my throat hurt, and my nose was extremely runny.
    After that I started to feel better even though, I didn't know at the time, I had StrepThroat. A really bad infection in your throat that makes it painful to swallow. On Friday it was the worst, I at first had a temperature of 99 then it went up to 102 or 103. Also my throat hurt so badly it was hard to swallow water, and I needed to drink Gator Aid, because I needed the electrolytes from it. It hurt because of the sugar, it burned my throat.
 On Sunday after a pain staking Saturday I started to get all my strength back, my runny nose started to die and throat got better. This was astonishing because I had both Strep Throat and Influenza, both very bad illnesses, and I was basically over them both in six says. But with the end of them, came both tiredness and weakness so I decide that I would stay home on Monday.
     On Monday I felt a great deal better I had a relatively low fever and my throat only hurt if I coughed. Also I had regained most of my strength and wasn't tired.
     Overall I hated being sick and it hurt unbelievably bad. Also when I had to go to the doctor I hated it. Plus I was taking about five different pills at a time. I hope it never happens again. That was the worst pain and agony Id ever gone through, and hope I don't go through again.
