How to enroll in the online math discussion.
-
Go to the Blackboard
login screen. Use your school username and password to log in.
-
At the next screen, click the tab that says "Courses."
-
In the first search box -- "Course Search" -- type in "Ms.
Pagan" without the quotes, and click GO.
-
When "Ms. Pagan's Algebra 1 Full Year" pops up, click the
Enroll button.
-
On the next screen, click Submit.
-
On the screen that says "You have been successfully enrolled
in Ms. Pagan's Algebra 1 Full Year," click OK.
-
Follow the directions on the next screen.
Once you're enrolled, it's time to join the discussion.
-
Click on the appropriate forum.
-
This will show you the threads of discussion that are going
on. A discussion thread is a specific subject related to the general conversation.
-
You can:
-
Click on a thread to respond or comment on that subject.
This is what you do when there's a thread already talking about what you
wanted to comment on. To read each comment, click on its subject. To reply
to a comment, click the reply button.
-
Start a new thread of conversation, by clicking on the "Add
New Thread." This is what you do when you have something else you want
to comment on, and want to start a new topic of conversation.
-
Your comments should be more than a sentence
or two in length, and you should back up your comments with supporting
evidence from the problem. Explain the logic that supports each conclusion
that you make. If turned in for credit your grade will be based on
your comments and supporting evidence that is posted on the forum as well
as whether or not you arrived at the correct answer.
