Creating a "Current Classwork" page with links
to days.
-
Map your N drive if you haven't already.
-
Start with a blank page in Composer.
-
Type a title at the top, along with the month.
-
Click save, and save it in your folder on the N drive (svrchestnut).
-
Click the button that says Table.

-
When
the Table box pops up, set the number of columns to 5. Set the number of
rows to however many weeks you want to make the links for, PLUS one row
for the labels (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) You can always add or subtract from
this later.
-
Click OK.
-
In the first row, put Monday, Tuesday, etc. in each box.
-
Then just put the date in each box, calendar stylie.
-
Now, we're going to create links for each of those days.
-
Highlight each date, and right click. Choose "create link
using selected."
-
Type a name for each link. Try to make the names consistent,
simple, and easy-to-remember. For example, for the month of October, I
call my links, oct01.html, oct02.html, oct14.html, etc.
-
Avoid using spaces or caps, and make sure to put the .html
on each one.

-
Save!!
-
None of these links will work yet:
-
When it comes to October 1st, you use Composer to create
a new file for that day's work. Then you save it in your N drive folder,
and name it oct01.html. Now the link will work. Tomorrow you would create
oct02.html, and so on.
-
If you find that you made too few or too many rows in your
calendar table, right-click somewhere in the last row, and choose either
Insert row or Delete row.
