Exporting your grades from MTG...
...for posting on the web.
-
The first time you do this, there are a few extra steps to
get it set up, then it gets easy.
-
Open a class, and then press Control =.
-
You will get a screen that looks like this:

-
First, check the box that says "Include HEADER information."
-
Then, scroll through the list on the left and decide which
things you want the kids to be able to see when they check their grades.
I usually choose: Student Number, Current Percent, Letter Grade, Number
of Zeros, and Class Rank. It will look like this:

-
Now, click "SAVE This Setup." Make up a name for this; I
use wmg (What's my grade.) Click done.

-
Now click next. Then next again. Here's where you add your
other classes. When you're finished, click "Done" and then "Next."
-
Now use the drop-down arrow to save all these file to the
same folder your web stuff is in. That is on the N drive (SVRCHESTNUT)
in the folder with your name on it. Here's an example:

-
Save each one as it pops up.
-
Now, the next time, all you have to do is:
-
Press Control=.
-
Click "Select A Setup."
-
Pick the one you saved the first time.
-
Choose the classes.
-
Save to your N drive folder. When it asks if you want to
overwrite, say yes.
-
What the kids will see is this:
