Advanced Web Topics.  For those who have a page up and running already.
Tables. So you can make your page look groovy by putting pictures and text side by side.
  1. Click the table button.
  2. Uncheck the boxes that say "Border line width" and "Equal column widths."
  3. Decide how many columns and rows you need.. Click ok.
  4. Now cut (Control X), and paste (Control V) the parts of your web page into the table. Keep saving and previewing  to see what it looks like.
  5. You can add rows and columns as you need them by RIGHT-CLICKING in the table where you want the row or column to go, and choosing INSERT.

  6. Tables work well for a Latest Work page, so you can put a calendar. Just make a table with 5 columns for the days of the week, and as many columns as you want weeks. See the previous step for adding more rows. In this case, you would want to check the border line box you unchecked above. Here's an example:

    Each of the days here is linked to the file for that day's work. But, if you're not that ambitious, you can simply fill each cell with the page numbers you worked on, or the exercises that were due.

Adding an e-mail link on your page.
  1. Type E-mail on your web page wherever you want it.
  2. Right-click and choose create link using selected.
  3. When the box pops up, type: "mailto:yourusername@slcusd.org"

  4. For example: For me it would say mailto:mcoward@slcusd.org
