Students: For those of you who participate in our after school math lab and homework club who wish to ride the 4pm bus, please remember that you must have filled out a “late run” permission slip before you use the bus. Please also remember that the late bus stops at our elementary schools only, not at the specific streets that your 3:00 bus stops at. You can download a permission slip from the district web site or pick up one in the office.

Food Drive – November 9^th through the 20^th

Bring cans to support the San Luis Obispo County Food Bank!!!

You can also bring packaged, boxed, and bottled products.

There will be a competition between the home bases: the 7^th and 8^th grade home bases with the most cans donated will win a prize!

Please help me welcome Jennan McLennan who will be filling in for us during Buffy Anderson’s maternity leave. Jennan has served as a counselor for the Adult School during our summer session, and we are thrilled to have her join our team. Jennan will be mirroring Buffy’s schedule; MWF at Laguna and T/TH at Los Osos Middle School.

Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive Our Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive is from November 9th through November 20th. Bring cans to support the San Luis Obispo County Food Bank. You can also bring packaged, boxed and bottled products. Thanks a lot.

Students Students….do you have a talent for art? All Laguna students are invited to participate in an Art Contest in honor of Martin Luther King’s birthday. You may use any medium, and it can be any size (almost!, not too big, please). The theme of your artwork should be Martin Luther King and the meaning of the holiday. All artwork will be due on December 4th, and the top three entries will receive a Best buy gift certificate.
